Update at 2.30 pm – FKLI touches our profit taking point of 1205.5 just before noon.  So 5 points profit for today.

Expect the FKLI to open higher.  For the October 2009 contract, the resistance level is at 1210 so one can attempt to short at that point, support level is at 1204 and one can attempt to long there, if the market price opens between these two figures. If price breaks above 1213 a breakaway trade can be initiated by going long, and if price breaks below 1201 one can attempt to go short. Target profit is about 5-7 points, while cut loss point is 5 points. Please que your positions before market opens, and above levels are applicable for one trade per day only. Updates on trade initiation will follow, stay tuned.

Trade Initiation for the Day – 24 September 2009

FKLI opened at 1218.  This means our positions qued to long at 1217 will be triggered, while those qued to go short at 1226 will be triggered, whichever touches first.

Update at 9.00 am – FKLI touched our que to go LONG at 1217.  Place stop 5 points away at 1212 and take profit 5-7 points away at 1222 to 1224.

Update at 9.36 am – FKLI touched our price to take profit at 1222, however only 1 lot was done nationwide.  One may want to take profit at lower price if cannot wait, or push stops to 1217 and wait for 1222 to come again.

Update at 11.53 am – FKLI touches our stop loss that has been pushed up to 1217.  That means today’s trade is a draw.  Better be safe than sorry.
